Design Manifesto
My design manifesto articulates my dedication to using my bold, adventurous design approach and knowledge to create positive change in the world.
To achieve the look of the cover, I knew I wanted to implore my knack for bold, eye-catching imagery. I photographed my hand through a piece of paper, and used my Photoshop capabilities to create the look of fire and blood around the hand. I also used Photoshop to create the title text, as well as to add in the hand-written text.
To achieve the look of the inside, I wrote the text, left space for certain words, and printed it. Then I hand-wrote certain words for emphasis, also tying in the hand-written motif from the cover. I then photographed it to get a more textured paper feel, to mimic the light and shadow effect in the cover image.
